Position Summary/Objective
The position holder manages the day-to-day operations of Beijing Raptor Rescue Center (BRRC) as well as BRRC’s rehabilitation and educationprograms at this location. The position leads the BRRC team to implement rescueand rehabilitation work in accordance with IFAW and BRRC standards. Inaddition, the position leads BRRC in providing capacity building support toother raptor rescue professionals in China and serving as a public education centre to promote wildlife conservation animal welfare.
Role and Responsibilities
Oversees the day-to-day operations of BRRC’s rescue andrehabilitation program, monitoring projects and budgets, and ensure that BRRC’soperation is in an effective manner in consistent with IFAW’s mission andpolicies.
Responsible for ensuring BRRC’s rescue and rehabilitationstandards and practices are adhered to IFAW policy and top level animal welfarestandard.
Work closely program manager in management of all BRRCstaff. Provides support and guidance, monitors performance, builds teamspirit and provides a communication bridge between IFAW China’s SeniorManagement Team and BRRC staff.
Work closely with compliance manager and program manager inmaintaining good strategic and collaborative partnerships with Beijing NormalUniversity, relevant government agencies, scientific research bodies, otherrescue facilities and ect.
Work closely with program manager in developing and adaptivelyadjusting BRRC’s strategy to make sure BRRC fully and well function as a rescuecenter, a training school for other raptor rescue professionals as well as aneducation centre for the general public on wildlife conservation and animalwelfare.
Establish and maintain collaborative relationship with otherdomestic and international rescue centres and professionals to ensure BRRCfunctions as an effective and efficient capacity building hub to improve raptorrescue in China.
Works with IFAW China program manager and communications managerto ensure the effective management and development of BRRC’s education program.
Work closely with program manager and communications manager indeveloping communications materials of BRRC to support communications andfund-raising effort. Ensures animal stories, photos and rescue activities areshared with the communications team in a timely manner.
Serve as public face of the BRRC to the public and/or media,clearly articulating IFAW and BRRC’s mission, programs and impact to increasevisibility of BRRC and enhance IFAW and BRRC’s reputation and standing.
Performs other duties and functions as requested by IFAW.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Proven record of leadership and management skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Englishand Chinese.
Excellent skills in problem solving, setting priorities,delegating, meeting deadlines and multi-tasking.
Ability to work with a variety of staff, partners, specialistsand volunteers.
Energetic, willingness to work hands-on in executing BRRC’sstrategies, initiatives and programs.
Minimum of 5-years’ experience with wildlife rescue andrehabilitation.

职位概述/目标
负责北京猛禽救助中心(以下简称“中心”)日常运营，对中心的猛禽康复和公众教育项目进行管理。依照IFAW和中心的标准，带领团队进行猛禽救助和康复工作。此外，还要带领团队为中国其他猛禽救助专业人员提供能力建设支持，并成为对公众进行野生动物保护教育的中心。
岗位职责
监督和管理中心的日常运营，对项目进展和预算执行进行把控，确保中心的运营符合IFAW的使命和政策。
确保中心的救助和康复标准以及实操符合IFAW的政策和高标准的动物福利。
紧密配合项目经理对中心员工进行管理，包括提供支持和指导，监督绩效，培养团队精神，成为IFAW中国办公室高管团队和中心员工之间的沟通桥梁。
与合规经理及项目经理一起密切合作，维护好与北京师范大学、相关政府机构、科研机构、及其他救助机构的战略合作伙伴关系。
与项目经理密切合作，制定并调整中心的战略，以确保中心成为猛禽救助康复、为其他猛禽救助专业人员提供培训、对大众进行野生动物保护和动物福利教育的三位一体的中心。
建立并保持与国内外其他救助中心和专业人员的合作关系，使中心成为中国猛禽救助整体提升的一个高效的能力建设基地。
与IFAW中国的项目经理和公共事务经理合作，确保中心教育项目的有效管理和发展。
与项目经理和公共事务经理密切合作，开发中心的宣传材料以支持公众宣传及筹款工作。确保及时将动物的故事、照片和救助活动分享给公共事务团队。
代表中心向公众和/或媒体清晰地阐述IFAW和中心的使命、规划及影响，以提高中心的知名度，从而提高IFAW和中心的声誉和地位。

资质和教育要求
有领导能力和管理能力。
优秀的组织能力。
优秀的中英文口头和写作表达能力。
优秀的解决问题的能力，能对工作进行优先级设定，委派下放，按时完成及多任务处理。
良好的沟通能力，能与合作伙伴，专家和志愿者一起工作。
积极主动且身体力行的执行中心的战略、倡议和活动。
5年或以上的野生动物救助和康复经验。
