美国 2021 年兽医服务行业规模达 521 亿美元，而中国兽医服务行业 2021 年规模亦达到 45 亿美元。美国是全球最大的宠物医疗服务市场，48%和40%的美国家庭拥有狗和猫，而中国的比例为25%和10%。2019年美国共有1.5亿只宠物狗和猫，中国有1亿只宠物狗和猫，宠物医疗行业有巨大市场增长空间，特别是在中国。宠物服务市场对医学影像设备的需求亦会大幅提升。
The 94th Western Veterinary Conference (WVC) was held on March 7-9, 2022 in Las Vegas. WVC is the largest Veterinary trade show in the US. Time Medical is a first-time exhibitor to the show. Other imaging companies such as Hitachi / Fujifilm, Esaote, and Mindray also participated in this event. Time Medical presented three veterinary MRI systems and attracted the interest of specialist veterinarians and distributors in the US and Central American countries. Time Medical is the leader in the China Vet MRI market with over 33% market share. Time Medical plans to enter the US Vet market in 2022 and WVC is a good starting point.The market size of the veterinary services industry in the US reached US$52.1 billion in 2021 whereas the market size in China reached US$4.5 billion. The US is the largest market for pet healthcare, with 48% and 40% of households having dogs and cats, while only 25% and 10% of households in China had dogs and cats. There are150 million dogs and cats in total in the US and around 100 million in China. There is huge growth potential in the pet market, especially in China. The demand for pet diagnostic imaging services will also increase substantially.
